The location of the hotel was incredible, providing some amazing winter views. the premium rooms were quite pleasant, and the onsen was lovely. the hotel offered great free upgrades to guests who complained about their standard room's low upkeep.
The older parts of the hotel are in dire need of renovation. Some of the rooms had holes in the walls, dead bugs in the corridors, and stains on the washi screens.

I had an enjoyable stay, thanks to the hotel's location by the river which gave scenic views. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were fantastic, and I appreciated the availability of transportation. I found the cleanliness of the hotel perfect.
Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

Located by the serene river, the hotel boasts picturesque surroundings and enchanting views, especially in winter. the premium rooms and the onsen are pleasant. After a complaint about the standard room's poor condition, we were kindly upgraded free of charge. the facilities are adequate, and breakfast is satisfying.
Sadly, parts of the hotel appear to be lacking renovation/cleaning, especially in the standard rooms.

The location of this hotel offered great views during winter! The onsen and premium rooms were pleasant, and we enjoyed the upgrade we received after complaining. Such a relief!
We booked a standard room and were very unhappy with what we saw. The room was old, and the lack of renovation was obvious.
